The U.S. Department of Agriculture is in the process of revising the meal patterns and nutrition requirements for the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Canned foods are an excellent option to deliver nutrition, convenience, appeal, ease-of-preparedness and versatility for schools as they strive to provide balanced, affordable meals for school children.
